It will hella matter. When you show up and do what you love to do, you are going to see that. As for your other points, I agree with your points and I also empathise. I think the problem is not “people not having skills.” It’s people looking for those skills are not showing up, asking the right questions, and re-training their perspectives to find the right people. People are all around us, capable of helping us and working with us. It’s hard to break one’s own code, though. And here I am speaking of the tech leaders saying nobody is available.
